1、 Overview of functional and structural features


Basic Function: ST2811 Electric Carbon Product Resistivity Tester is a multi-purpose comprehensive measuring device that uses the principle of four terminal method to professionally measure the resistivity, connection resistance, and body resistance of electric carbon products (brushes, carbon electrodes, etc.).
Basic composition: The testing instrument consists of units such as the ST2811 Electric Carbon Product Resistivity Tester (host), SZT-K1A Test Bench (four terminal test electrode device), and the ST2811 Electric Carbon Product Resistivity Tester PC software.
According to standards: "JBT 8133.2-2013 Test Methods for Physical and Chemical Properties of Electric Carbon Products - Part 2: Resistivity" and "JBT 8133.5-2013 Test Methods for Physical and Chemical Properties of Electric Carbon Products - Part 5: Connection Resistance at the Connection of Brush Body and Flexible Wiring".
Advantages and features: This testing system is equipped with supporting PC software, which makes parameter settings, data testing, and other operations simple and clear. The functions of data testing, collection, editing, saving, printing, and historical query are complete.
This system can be operated online with PC software or offline with individual instruments, with simple and complete functions.
Application scope: This instrument is suitable for research and production units of carbon brushes, carbon electrode materials and product factories, as well as other scientific research units and universities that test the resistivity and connection resistance performance of electric carbon products.

2、 Technical parameters
2.1 System measurement range and resolution
(1) Sample size testing range
Sample thickness: 3mm<d<20mm,
Sample width: 3mm<w<50mm,
Sample length: 8mm<L0<80mm.
(2) Resistivity testing range
The range of sample resistivity testing is related to its cross-sectional area and testing needle distance. Taking cross-sectional area S=250mm2 and needle distance L=5mm as an example:
Basic resistivity measurement value: 0.50u Ω * m~10.0k Ω * m.
Basic resistivity resolution: 0.01u Ω * m~0.01k Ω * m.
The relationship between the resistivity measurement range corresponding to the needle distance and other cross-sections is shown in Figure 2.1-1.
(3) Connection resistance/body resistance testing range
Resistance measurement value: 10.0u Ω~200k Ω.
Resistance resolution: 0.10u Ω~1.00k Ω.
2.2 Structural parameters of SZT-K1A test bench:
(1) Adjustable spacing of voltage probes: L=5mm/10mm/15mm/20mm/25mm.
(2) Adjustable spacing between current electrodes: L0=0mm~80mm.
(3) Optional range of test points: Any test point can be adjusted within the length and width plane range of the sample surface.
(4) Overall size of test bench: 365mm × 150mm × 200mm (length × wide × High)
2.3 ST2811 tester PC software functions:
(1) The measurement and control interface allows for the selection of functions such as resistivity, connection resistance, and bulk resistance, as well as data measurement, recording, and printing.
(2) The setting interface allows for parameter settings of sample length, width, and thickness.
(3) The query interface allows for querying, editing, and printing of historical test data.
(4) The help interface can provide guidance on software usage and operation.
