2、 Overview
2.1 Basic functions
The ST2931B bipolar plate carbon felt resistance testing system for all vanadium flow batteries is a professional integrated measuring instrument that uses the principles of four terminal method and four probe method to test the resistivity, body resistance, contact resistance, and other parameters of bipolar plates, carbon felt, and components used in all vanadium flow batteries.
2.2 Adopting Main National Standards/Industrial Standards/Enterprise Standards
NB_T42007-2013 Test Method for Bipolar Plates Used in All Vanadium Flow Batteries, GBT 1552-1995 Direct Four Probe Method for Determining the Resistivity of Silicon and Germanium Single Crystals, etc.
2.2 Complete system composition:
The main units of the testing system include: measurement and control host and color LCD display screen, automatic pressure control console, automatic thickness dial gauge, four terminal gold plated electrode, four probe testing platform and four probe probe, as well as supporting PC measurement and control software.
2.3 Advantages and characteristics:
a. The measurement and control mode conforms to national standards, with scientific, reasonable and high accuracy.

The important units of the system include: thickness uniformity testing of carbon felt, bipolar plate body resistivity testing, bipolar plate carbon felt contact resistance testing, etc., which are professionally integrated and have high cost-effectiveness.
c. Fully automatic continuous stepped multi pressure point continuous testing mode.
The fitting of the "resistance/contact resistance pressure" curve has good repeatability, simplicity, and efficiency.
d. Fully automatic continuous stepped multi compression rate point continuous testing mode.
The fitting of the "resistance/contact resistance compression ratio" curve has good repeatability, simplicity, and efficiency.e. The color screen displays multiple parameters on the same screen, such as resistance, pressure, height, etc.

Single machine mode, all parameter settings and function conversion of the instrument are displayed using touch buttons and color screens,

This instrument is suitable for testing the electrical resistivity, bulk resistance, contact resistance, and other parameters of proton exchange membrane fuel cell bipolar plate materials and components. Widely used in higher education institutions, research institutes, measurement units, industrial and mining enterprises related to fuel cell bipolar plates, it is an important and excellent tool for testing and analyzing the resistance parameters of fuel cell bipolar plates.

3.2 Test condition parameters can be provided
a. Eight level constant current source: 0.1uA, 1.0uA, 10uA, 100uA, 1.0mA, 10mA, 100mA, 1.0A. Accuracy ± 0.1%.
Voltmeter: 20mV~2.0V automatic range, accuracy ± 0.1%.
b. Recommendation of electrode selection and pressure conditions
The system provides a rated pressure of 3000N (300KG), with a recommended cross-section of 25cm2 as the column. The optional pressure range is 0-1.2MPa, which is related to the electrode and sample cross-section. Please refer to Table 3.1 for details
3.3 Single machine mode data representation form and accuracy level parameters
a. Real time synchronous display: resistance R, accuracy ± 0.3%, Scientific notation of "5 significant digits+order of magnitude units".
b. Real time synchronous display: pressure P, thickness W, accuracy ± 0.2%, 4 significant digits.
c. Real time synchronous display: test the current size and direction.
3.4 Online mode data representation form and accuracy level parameters
a. The software measurement and control interface and instrument color screen display relevant content in real-time synchronization.
b. After the test is completed, a test report can be printed, which includes the "Contact Resistivity Rj Pressure Pa" form and curve, and the "Contact Resistivity Rj Compression Rate" form and curve,.
